It’s no surprise to anyone reading this blog that smoothies are kinda my thing. For a while, I was making (and posting) mostly green superfood smoothies. And I love them. But sometimes, you know, I want something a little more festive! That’s when the Piña Colada Smoothie Recipe comes in: it is a tropical vacation in a cup! I guarantee you will be addicted once you start making these. How do I know? Because I have had one every single day since I came up with the recipe. Here’s the nutritional breakdown (per recipe):
Calories: 375 (yes, this is a little steep. But it works as a meal replacement)
- Fat – 7 g
- Fiber – 8 g
- Protein – 25g
- Vitamin C – 121% RDV
- Vitamin A- 15%
- Iron – 43%
In addition, this smoothie is vegan and gluten free!
Piña Colada Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup diced mango
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1/3 cup light coconut milk
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 level scoop Now Foods Plant Protein Powder
- Toasted Hemp Seeds to sprinkle on top

Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a blender in the following order: ice, liquid, fruit, protein powder.
- Blend on high until frothy and smooth.
- If desired, sprinkle with toasted hemp seeds and serve!
