Spiced Almond Milk

A couple of week’s ago, i brought you a simple recipe for Homemade Creamy Almond Milk.  Well, I thought it would be fun to use that recipe to create a sweetened milk without all the refined sugar, additives, carrageenan, and “natural flavors.”  Chocolate milk is a old-time favorite, but I wanted to try something new and fun!

It is still cold here with no real signs of spring yet, so I thought a Spiced Almond Milk was appropriate.  Not only is this a tasty treat for kids and adults, but it is so easy to make.  Just throw everything in your blender and voila!  After the drink settles, it should have a nice layer of foam on the top.  It would always taste great warmed on the stovetop for those cold days in front of the fireplace…not that anyone is wishing for those right now!
