Classic Chocolate Glazed Donuts

Sharing is caring!

Who doesn’t love a good donut?! These donuts are pretty damn fantastic if ya ask me! These donuts are super flavorful, rich, and delicious!

So after I had a pretty depressing appointment at an oral surgeon last week where I found out I have 3 severely impacted wisdom teeth and that I have to have oral surgery next week, my mom and I decided to get some donuts and coffee. As I was eating my chocolate glazed sprinkled donut I had an epiphany that I needed to develop a recipe for chocolate glazed donuts! Therefore I did it and they turned out amazing!! You will love them so you should make them!

Now for the baking part! You will begin by combining the dry ingredients in a large bowl then in a medium bowl you will combine the wet ingredients. At this time you will add the wet to the dry and mix until it is completely smooth. Now you will spoon the batter into the donut pan filling each one half way. Bake the donuts at 350 for about 8 minutes then allow them to cool for a few while you make the chocolate glaze. To make the chocolate glaze just microwave the chocolate chips and shortening together until melted. Dip the donuts in the chocolate glaze then dip them in a bowl of sprinkles, if you want sprinkles, and allow them to set. That’s it!

Here is the recipe! 😋
