Ingredients for Gnocchi Bake

  • One pack (18 ounces) of either fresh or frozen gnocchi
  • 1 pound of premium Italian sausage
  • One jar (14 ounces) of your chosen marinara sauce
  • About 1 1/2 cups of finely shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions for Gnocchi Bake

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, immerse the gnocchi into it. Let them cook until they’re soft, which usually takes between 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. While waiting for the gnocchi, break the sausage into chunks and place them in a pan set over medium-high flame. Stir continuously until the sausage is browned evenly. Once done, discard any excess grease. Blend in the marinara sauce with the sausage.
  4. Now, gently fold in the boiled gnocchi and half of the mozzarella cheese into the sausage and sauce mixture. Once mixed, move this concoction into a baking dish. Gracefully scatter the remaining mozzarella over the top.
  5. Let it bake in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when the cheese turns golden and the mixture begins to bubble.
