In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, olive oil, salt, pepper, dried sage, garlic powder, and brown sugar (or maple syrup). Mix everything thoroughly.
Shape the mixture into 6 equal patties using your hands.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
Place 3 patties in the pan and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
Remove the first batch and repeat with the remaining patties.
