In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
Rub half of the spice mixture onto the chicken thighs. Flip the chicken and apply the remaining spices, ensuring an even coating.
Cooking Method:
For grilling: Heat a nonstick grill pan over medium heat; drizzle olive oil. Grill half of the chicken, allowing space between pieces, for about 5 minutes without moving. Flip and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes until done. Repeat with the remaining chicken.
For broiling: Preheat your oven's broiler and adjust a rack to 6 inches from the heat source. Place a wire rack on a baking tray and arrange the chicken on it. Broil for 6 minutes, flip, and continue broiling for another 5 to 6 minutes.
