Preheat your oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Break the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour with water, adding ¼ cup at a time, until a batter forms with a creamy consistency, thick enough to coat a spoon. Mix in the garlic powder, cumin, and paprika; season with salt and pepper.
Dip the cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they are well-coated, and arrange them on the baking sheet with space between each piece.
Bake the cauliflower for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. Remove the baking sheet from the oven carefully.
In a large bowl, stir together the hot sauce and olive oil or melted butter. Toss the baked cauliflower florets in this mixture until fully coated.
Place the cauliflower back on the baking sheet and return it to the oven. Bake for another 10 to 14 minutes, or until the cauliflower is slightly charred.
Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately with your favorite dips or sauces.
