Optional Seasonings:Lemon pepper, paprika, Cajun spices, Montreal steak seasoning, etc.
1large eggbeaten
1/2cupof finely crushed pork rindsor almond flour
2tablespoonsof grated Parmesan cheese
Optional Dips: ranchhot sauce, BBQ sauce, etc.
Instructions
Chop the cauliflower into small, bite-sized pieces.
Preheat the air fryer to 360°F for about 5 minutes.
In a bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and any other optional seasonings you like. Add the beaten egg and mix until the cauliflower is evenly coated.
In another bowl, mix the crushed pork rinds (or almond flour) with the Parmesan cheese.
Coat each cauliflower floret in the mixture, shaking off any extra coating.
Spray the cauliflower lightly with oil to ensure even cooking. Be sure to cover any dry spots, as uncoated areas may burn in the air fryer.
Prepare the air fryer basket by spraying it with oil or lining it with a perforated silicone mat or parchment paper. Place the coated cauliflower in a single layer in the basket.
Cook in the air fryer at 360°F for 8 minutes. Carefully flip the florets, spray any dry areas with oil, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of crispiness and golden brown.
Serve the cauliflower bites warm with your preferred dipping sauce.
